Elfquest redesign

I was reading these comics when i was a child... and i was in the mood to play around with them a little. It was lot of fun, especially the research. As these characters are living in different cultures - similar to the cultures we had (ore still have) here - I focused on mixing fantasy and real elements.

One of the most exciting things about concept art is the fact that you learn so many new things while doing research. I that case i explored a lot of different cultures, the way they dressed and how different the taste of aesthetic could be. Is was so interesting and sometimes surprising that I found myself often reading articles and collecting pictures all night long. :)
